Alaskan Getaway 2027

 Alaska has been one of the most requested destinations from our community, so we’re finally doing it.

Join us for nine nights aboard Virgin Voyages’ Brilliant Lady as we sail round-trip from Seattle into Alaska, where glaciers, mountains, wildlife and some seriously incredible scenery replace our usual palm trees and Caribbean water.

We’ll visit Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point and Sitka, spend a day cruising alongside the massive Hubbard Glacier and finish with a stop in Victoria, British Columbia before returning to Seattle.

And with four days at sea throughout the sailing, we’ll have plenty of time to actually enjoy Brilliant Lady and spend time together along the way.

• Ketchikan, Alaska
Welcome to Alaska. Explore colorful Creek Street, learn about the area’s rich Native Alaskan culture, head into the surrounding wilderness or get out on the water in search of wildlife. Ketchikan is also one of the best places on the itinerary for experiencing the rainforest landscapes of Southeast Alaska.

• Icy Strait Point, Alaska
This one is all about the outdoors. Located near the small community of Hoonah, Icy Strait Point offers incredible opportunities for whale watching, wildlife viewing and exploring Alaska’s wilderness. Or take in the scenery from above on one of the area’s famous adventure experiences.

• Hubbard Glacier
This is the big one.

We’ll spend the day scenic cruising at Hubbard Glacier, the largest tidewater glacier in North America. Massive walls of blue ice, snow-covered mountains and the possibility of watching chunks of ice calve into the water make this one of those days when the destination comes directly to the ship.

No excursion required. Just find a good viewing spot, grab a jacket and take it all in.

• Sitka, Alaska
Surrounded by mountains, forest and water, Sitka combines incredible scenery with a fascinating mix of Tlingit culture and Russian history. Explore the town, look for bald eagles and other wildlife, head out on the water or venture into the surrounding wilderness.

• Victoria, British Columbia
Our final stop brings us to beautiful Victoria on Vancouver Island. Explore the historic downtown and Inner Harbour, wander through the city’s gardens and neighborhoods or simply enjoy a few hours in one of Canada’s prettiest coastal cities.

• Sea Days
Four days throughout the sailing give us plenty of time to enjoy Brilliant Lady between our Alaska adventures. Sleep in, join us for a group activity, grab some food, catch a show or find a spot with a view and watch Alaska go by.

Because on this cruise, even doing absolutely nothing can come with a pretty spectacular backdrop.
